Terms of service

1. Who we are

The service is run by SIGNALANALYTICS.AI LTD, trading as ActivateDigital, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16798718.

2. What the service does

The ActivateDigital console builds Digital Product Passports from your shop's product data, from Shopify, WooCommerce or a file you upload.

It shows where each answer came from and asks you only for what it could not establish. Each passport you approve is published as a public page on dppcode.org.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what is done in your account and for keeping your sign-in safe.

4. Prices and billing

The WooCommerce plugin is free. The service is paid.

• Your first 5 passports are free.
• Pay as you go: 0.99 per published passport, and at most 50.00 in any 30 days.
• Unlimited: 19.99 every 30 days.

Billing runs in periods of 30 days. Prices are in US dollars or pounds sterling, at the same figures. The console shows you the price before anything is charged.

If you use Shopify, you are billed through Shopify. Otherwise Stripe takes the payment.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. It takes effect at the end of your current 30 days.

A passport you have published keeps resolving at its address after you cancel, disconnect or uninstall. Nothing new is read or published after that.

6. Your data and your facts

You own your product data. You are responsible for the facts you supply or approve.

A passport is published only after you approve it.

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.

7. Acceptable use

Use the service only for products you sell or have the right to describe. Don't publish facts you know are false. Don't try to break, overload or get round the service, or reach data that isn't yours. If you do, we can suspend your account.

8. Our liability

We run the service with care, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. You are responsible for the facts you approve. Nothing in these terms limits any liability the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we say so on this page and by email before the change takes effect.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
